Vaelor is sealed within the royal Crown. Across generations, the symbol of the monarchy also carries its oldest secret.
The Crown shatters
During a public royal ceremony, the seal breaks. Vaelor appears, vanishes and leaves Elyria with fragments scattered beyond the known road.
Your road begins far from the throne
The player starts with local trouble, then follows a road that opens into the Crown mystery and a conflict larger than any one settlement.
A threat without a known destination
Vaelor appeared. Then vanished.
The Shattering is the beginning of the mystery, not its answer. The road, the scattered fragments and Elyria itself pull the player deeper into it.
